The holiday season is upon us: a time for celebration, spending time with friends and family and indulging in one too many slices of pumpkin pie.
For all of us at Mead Market and Bee Thinking, the holiday season means one more thing: Mead Jubilee.
Mead Jubilee is an annual celebration of our Portland community and our shared love of mead; an event to sip, munch, chat, and feel the joy and warmth of the season. This is our third year hosting Mead Jubilee, and every year it expands to include more people and merriment than the year before. We are endlessly grateful to our Portland community that has helped us become who we are today: What better way to show our appreciation than a big holiday party?
This year, we are excited to welcome 6 local meaderies to pour their meads for us: Nectar Creek, Oregon Mead and Cider Company, Fringe Mead, Sky River, Viking Braggot Company, and Ethereal Meads.
Everyone is welcome at Mead Jubilee. There will be fun and festivities for the whole family, including:
