Langstroth Screened Bottom Board

I haven't used them yet, but I like the way they look and I like the distance between the slide-in bottom board and the screened bottom. Also feels very solid.

The cedar bottom boards are well-built and handle the elements, especially when treated with tung oil. We were especially impressed with the slots in which to slide in verroa mite boards.

I am currently waiting for delivery of the nuc of bees, then spring will be close at hand...I hope! I am new to bee keeping. Last winter I made the error of insufficient air circulation...among other errors. This bottom board assembly will be better than the solid bottom.

It takes a while to get their bee hives and frames but they are high quality. The tolerances mean a long use life. Clean and tight.
