Description

Our deep Langstroth boxes are made using clear, FSCⓇ certified wood. Choose your wood type, with windows or without, and whether you'd like 8-frame or 10-frame boxes.

8-frame boxes measure 14" wide by 19⅞" long by 9⅝" deep

10-frame boxes measure 16" wide by 19⅞" long by 9⅝" deep

Note: These boxes can be used as brood boxes on your Flow hive.

Optional

Choose closed sides or windows on each side of the box with CNC cut window covers, black walnut latches, and stainless steel hardware

Note: If choosing cedar, know that the lumber color can vary significantly within the same tree (let alone from tree to tree)! The top of the tree might yield very light lumber, while the middle might be darker or pinkish. This is part of the beauty of cedar and why we use only clear wood -- so we don't waste even a scrap of this remarkable wood!

Pre-drilled holes

Everything was great except the pre-drilled holes. They were not centered, and the screws broke through the wood on the inside.

Outstanding quality!

The quality of the hive parts and beekeeping supplies is just excellent. Boxes and frames are a cinch to put together, all the necessary parts are included and the hardware is of great quality and a pleasure to use! Bees love their new home!

Love my Deep Hive Box

I got 2 more Deep Hive Boxes for my 2 backyard hives. I again am impressed by the quality and craftsmanship of these hive boxes and my bees LOVE THEM. So fun to show my grandson the bees at work in the windows!!
