Warre Hive Box

I usually have good luck with 'Bee Built" products and have bought this product before. This time something was off. The pieces didn't fit. The plexiglass window was too long and too tall and required modification. Same with the cover board for the window. I had to cut 3/8'' of both dimensions on both pieces. Just glad I had the tools to do it. Additionally the shipment tracking indicated the product didn't ship for 4 days after I ordered it which was also mildly frustrating from a usually great company.

Always love my bee built boxes. Factory second or not they are always high quality

One of the viewing window slats cuts was slightly off. I notified customer service and they got a replacement ready and I had it the next day. Overall I was happy with the purchase

I love my Warre hive. It's perfect for my small farm. Its simplicity appeals to me, as well as the fact that I am able to easily harvest both wax and honey. The hives kits are well made and the wood is high quality. Add to that excellent customer service, and you have a winner. If I could have one wish, though, it would be that the holes for the screws would be pre-drilled. This would prevent splitting as well as maintain the fit and finish of the final assembled hive.
